Ringtime already runs on top of Carerix, Connexys, BrightStaffing and RecruitNow. Your ATS stays your system of record and nothing moves.

What it does

A new application, or a candidate who reaches the stage you choose, enters the screening campaign for that vacancy. Ringtime reads the candidate, the application and the vacancy from your ATS. It reaches the candidate on phone and WhatsApp and keeps going across channels until they answer.

When the conversation ends, the result comes back as a note on the application: the score, the answer to every screening question and a link to the full conversation. The application moves to the stage you mapped for that outcome: interview booked, review needed, candidate withdrew.

Your recruiter opens the ATS to a candidate who has already been reached and screened. Nobody copies a result from one window into another.

Why it matters

• Start with the ATS you run today. If your system is on the list, there is no custom build to wait for. Your admin connects it in the Ringtime app and the setup moves straight to your vacancies and screening questions.
• One system for your recruiters. Your ATS keeps every candidate and vacancy. Recruiters work where they already work and find every screening result there.
• Your recruiter decides. Ringtime writes the score and the answers. A recruiter makes the call on every candidate, which is what the EU AI Act asks of a screening tool.

Keep your candidate data under your control

Connecting your ATS means one more company handles your candidate data. Here is what happens to it.

• Your login stays with your admin. Your ATS admin signs in on a secure Kombo screen. Ringtime never sees the ATS password. No API keys go by email or chat.
• Your connection is yours alone. It belongs to your organisation in Ringtime. Kombo reads candidate, application, vacancy and recruiter records. It reads the CV only if you switch that on. Ringtime writes back notes and the stage changes you mapped. It leaves the profiles your recruiters built untouched.
• Hosted in the EU. Kombo Technologies GmbH in Berlin hosts on Google Cloud in the European Union. It is ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certified and works as a GDPR processor under a Data Processing Agreement. Ringtime stores its data on AWS in Ireland.
• Deleted when you disconnect. Kombo keeps a synchronised copy only while the connection is active. After you remove the connection, it deletes that copy within 14 days and its backups within 15 days.
• Tested before real data flows. Link a test (sandbox) account first and run the whole campaign without real candidates. The live connection follows once your own security team approves it. Both connections can be linked side by side.

For your IT team

How does the data flow? Ringtime calls Kombo's unified ATS API over HTTPS. Kombo connects to your ATS with the access your admin granted in Kombo's connect flow. Ringtime never stores your ATS credentials.

How fast does Ringtime see a new applicant? When something changes in your ATS, Kombo sends Ringtime a change event (webhook). Ringtime then fetches the changed records. Some systems, such as Spott, send no change events of their own. For those, Kombo checks for changes on a schedule, at most 3 hours apart. We tell you before the start which applies to your ATS.

What does Ringtime read? Candidates, applications, vacancies and users (your recruiters), in Kombo's standard data model. Custom fields unique to your setup are not part of that model.

What does Ringtime write? A note on the application with a link to the full conversation. A stage change, only to a stage that already exists in your ATS. Ringtime never edits the candidate profile and writes no tags. Which writes your ATS accepts differs per system. We check this before we start.

Where is the data and how is it protected? Ringtime runs on AWS in eu-west-1 (Ireland). The database and its backups (kept 30 days) are encrypted at rest with AES-256 (AWS KMS). Traffic is encrypted with TLS. Application secrets sit in AWS SSM Parameter Store, encrypted with KMS.

What if the connection breaks? If a login expires or someone revokes access, you and we both see it. Your admin reconnects in the Ringtime app.

What if Kombo does not support our ATS? We build a direct integration, as we do for BrightStaffing and RecruitNow.

What if my ATS is not on the list?
Ringtime builds a direct integration, as it does today for BrightStaffing and RecruitNow. Your technical team gives API access and we set up the link with you.
